For the longest period of time the Asterisk project didn’t accept feature or improvement requests. They could be discussed in various places, such as the mailing lists and the community forums, but if a patch was not present then such things on our issue tracker would be closed. With the move to Github this has now changed!
A separate Github repository has been set up here for submitting feature and improvement requests.
Before submitting a request, check to see if an existing request has already been made and if it has then comment to indicate your interest. If no such request has been made already feel free to submit a new one with as much detail as possible.
Note however: There is NO guarantee any requests will be acted upon. The repository simply acts as a central place for the requests, for people to show interest.
