This is just a friendly reminder that Asterisk 16 and 19 will be going security fix only in a few months. When this occurs Asterisk 16 and 19 will only receive fixes as a result of security issues. In October of next year they will then transition to end of life and will receive no security fixes or releases. If you are a user of Asterisk 16 you can either upgrade now to Asterisk 18, or upgrade to Asterisk 20 once released. If you are a user of Asterisk 19 then you’ll want to wait until Asterisk 20 is released. Both Asterisk 18 and Asterisk 20 are long term supported releases, with 18 going security fix only in October of 2024. As always you can keep up to date on Asterisk versions on the wiki.
