This is just a friendly reminder that Asterisk 18 will be going security fix only next month, on October 20th. When this occurs Asterisk 18 will only receive fixes as a result of security issues. In October of next year it will then transition to end of life and will receive no security fixes or releases. If you are a user of Asterisk 18 you can either upgrade now to Asterisk 20, or upgrade to Asterisk 22 once released. Both Asterisk 20 and Asterisk 22 are long term supported releases, with 20 going security fix only in October of 2026 and 22 going security fix only in October of 2028.
