Hardware

Asterisk supports a number of hardware devices, most notably all of the hardware manufactured by Sangoma, the creator of Asterisk.

Zaptel compatible hardware

Unlocking the power of Asterisk, Sangoma’s line of PCI hardware is designed specifically with Asterisk in mind, and has been proven and tested in a wide range of installations worldwide. Visit the Sangoma website to see a current listing of Zaptel compatible hardware.

Wildcard TE411P

Quad-Span togglable T1/E1/J1 echo cancellation card enables per card or per port selection of either T1, E1, J1 signaling formats (3.3 volt PCI only).

Wildcard TE406P

Quad-Span togglable T1/E1/J1 echo cancellation card enables per card or per port selection of either T1, E1, J1 signaling formats (5.0 volt PCI only).

Wildcard X100P

A single port FXO PCI interface card for interfacing with a standard analog phone line.

Wildcard T100P

A Single-Span T1 half-length (available with 2U bracket) PCI card sporting the same features as the TE410P.

Wildcard E100P

A Single-Span E1 half-length (available with 2U bracket) PCI card sporting the same features as the TE410P.

Generic

Generic X100P Intel IA92 WinModem compatible with X100P. This is the so-called “clone” X100P. No technical support is available for this product.

Non-Zaptel and non-dialogic hardware

Voicetronix

OpenPCI Quad- or 8-port FXS or FXO interface. Uses VPB driver. OpenLine4 Quad FXO interface. Uses VPB driver. OpenSwitch6/12 6/12-port FXS or FXO interface. Uses VPB driver.

Aculab

E1/T1 PCI Card 1, 2 or 4 trunk availability with worldwide protocol support.

QuickNet

Internet PhoneJack Single FXS interface. Supports Linux telephony interface. DSP compression built-in. Internet LineJack Single FXS or FXO interface. Supports Linux telephony interface. DSP compression built-in.

Miscellaneous

ISDN4Linux – Any ISDN terminal adapter supported by isdn4linux should provide connectivity. ALSA – Any ALSA compatible full-duplex sound card. OSS – Any OSS compatible full-duplex sound card.
