Our goal remains the same – to bring you the latest updates on open source development, delivered to you by many of our top community members, while also providing attendees the ability to network and engage with each other.
As much as we would love to host AstriCon 2020 in person as we have for the past 16 years, the global pandemic has forced us, along so many others, to present AstriCon as a virtual event, out of health and safety concerns as well as ongoing travel restrictions.
Since it’s not a traditional AstriCon, we’re calling it AstriCon Plan (9). It will be a two-day virtual conference held on October 21st through October 22nd, 2020. For the first time this year, we have added a pre-conference day dedicated to a Spanish Track, happening on October 20th, 2020.
2020 has been a year of making the best of unusual situations, and this year’s AstriCon is no different. We are doing everything we can to ensure that this virtual AstriCon event will be just as unique and memorable as past AstriCons.
We will also be hosting several Open Source Lounges throughout the conference to give attendees a place to take a break and chat with speakers and community members.
We look forward to seeing you at the event! More information and a complete conference schedule will be announced soon.
