Submitted by murf on 30 December 2008 - 11:30pm.

Hey Community,
I thought I'd take a break from coding for a bit and share with everyone some of the features with the new System Status page in the Asterisk GUI. I posted a few screenshots @ 'New System Status' image gallery, so take a look. Feedback is always welcome.

ODBC Transaction support
Submitted by Corydon76 on 17 December 2008 - 8:54pm.

People have asked for many things after the release of func_odbc. Func_odbc is a module that permits you to create fill-in-the-blank SQL templates, which become dialplan functions. One of the requests was for automatically using the column names to populate variables, which became the HASH() function. Another request was for multi-row access, and that is now integrated within func_odbc as the parameter "mode=multirow".

We switched the core Linux distribution to CentOS from rPath (which uses yum rather than conary).

Handling backports from trunk to 1.4
Submitted by mvanbaak on 12 September 2008 - 7:08pm.

Today I committed a new version of svnmerge to repotools that updates our version to the latest upstream version.

One of the best new features of the upstream svnmerge is the '--record-only' flag.
